What is an LM and how is it used?
LM potencies are a delivery system invented by Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of Homeopathy. LM is the Roman numeral for 50,000, referring to the dilution factor of 1/50,000.
LM potencies were developed along with the use of clinical studies that showed the body responding to repeated potencies. LMs are a liquid formulated by the pharmacy, then prepared and diluted by the patient, according to instructions. As the body is exposed to a slightly higher amount of the LM each day, the optimal level of health is reached within approximately twenty days. Usually single doses of the LM are taken as boosters when needed.
